Men's Health

We know that men face unique challenges throughout their lives and are disproportionately affected by a number of health conditions including cancer, cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. The average life expectancy for men is 4 years fewer than women.

Research indicates that men are more inclined to participate in unhealthy activities, including, but not exclusively limited to, smoking, dangerous gambling, excessive alcohol intake, and substance abuse. Several of these actions serve as risk factors for illnesses like cancer, heart disease, and dementia.

This section of our website is devoted to exploring the multifaceted aspects of Men’s health, providing comprehensive information and support on important topics such as cancers that uniquely affect Men, Recommended screenings, mental health and healthy lifestyle choices.

Men’s Health is often underrepresented, and men are far less likely to visit a GP or talk to anyone if they suspect a problem. We hope to give you the resources that you need to support your happiness, safety, and health helping you to lead a more balanced, healthy lifestyle.

Five health symptoms men should not ignore:

  1. A lump on your testicle
  2. Moles
  3. Feeling depressed
  4. Trouble urinating
  5. Impotence
