Extended Access Appointments

Need a weekend or evening appointment?
The PCN is pleased to announce that we now offer evening and weekend appointments for routine, non-urgent issues to our patients as part of Extended GP Opening hours, dependent on your registered surgery.
(PLEASE BE AWARE: Station Street and St Nicholas Medical Centre patients have access to weekday evening appointments with a GP or Clinical Pharmacist only).
Services offered within the Extended Access are:
– GP Consultations
– Nurse appointments Offering:
- Wound care
- ECG’s
- Contraceptive support
- Clip/suture removal
- BP monitoring
- Child immunisations
- Depo injections for contraception
- B12 injections
Appointments are available to all patients and can be booked through your surgery receptionist staff who will give you a time, date and venue for your appointment. All weekend appointments are based at The Atherstone Surgery.
Our receptionist will also be able to answer any questions you have about the service and how to cancel or change your booking.
The GP Extended Hours service is designed to provide patients with appointments outside core general practice hours for routine care and is available:
- Via the phone Monday to Friday: 6.30pm – 8.00pm
- For face-to-face appointments Saturdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm
You may not be able to see your own GP but you will be seen by a suitably qualified health professional such as a doctor or practice nurse.
