Doorways - Supporting Young People in Our Community
A huge thank you to Doorway Charity for inviting North Arden Primary Care Network to The Hatters Space Community Centre to talk about access to healthcare services.
Alongside Doorway and the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust Mobile Wellbeing Hub, we spent time answering questions about healthcare, how to access services, and how to make the most of digital tools like the NHS App and Online Consultation. We also discussed accessing our multidisciplinary specialists, connecting with community and voluntary groups, and getting involved in local activities.
We’re grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to support the young people in our community. We look forward to visiting again soon.
About Doorway:
Doorway is a charity that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing guidance, practical support, and a safe space to help them move toward stability and independence.
Their mission is to provide homeless young people with a safe and secure environment where they can build a brighter future. This is achieved through offering advice, accommodation options, support, and life skills development. They aim to inspire hope for the future, elevate aspirations, and enhance the quality of life for these individuals.
